3 Circles

These three circles are painted with gouache. Each depict a different color scheme: light to dark, warm to cool and bright to dull.

Detroit View

This is a charcoal drawing of Detroit buildings from a 9th floor window.

Still Life

This is a still life ink drawing on newsprint of a bowl, a tripod and an old tree branch.

Self Portrait

This is a self portrait done in pastels for a class assignment.

Negative Space Model

This is a marker drawing of a live model. The assignment was to show the negative spaces of the setup.

Lucky and the Piranhas

This is a 2-plate woodcut fish print that I produced while in school at Bradley University. One plate consisted of the black, and the other was the orange and a gradation of light to dark blue. It tells the story of the goldfish that was saved.

Office Depot Break Room

This is a mural I painted in the breakroom at Office Depot in Peoria, IL. The underwater scene goes around the entire room. I used rollers for the monochromatic blues and paintbrushes for the sea life and words. The scene contains many fish including a shark, a whale, a sea turtle, a lobster, an octopus and a sting ray.
